How do we join Otis and Friends?

We aim to ensure that our group walks cater to both seasoned and new group walkers. To achieve this, we've developed a well-established process that prioritizes the happiness and well-being of all doggies during their time with us.

Step 1

We'd love to hear from you! You can get in touch with us through our contact page, via WhatsApp, or by email.

When you do, please share your postcode and tell us a bit about your dog—things like their size, age, breed, and personality. Also, don't forget to let us know what days/time you'd need the walk on.

As soon as we get your information, we'll jump into action. We'll check if we cover your area and if we have openings for your pup. If everything aligns, we'll set up a call to chat more about the specifics. We can't wait to connect with you and your dog!

Step 2

Let's talk about making some new four-legged friends! If we think your dog could be a fantastic addition to our group, we'll set up a meet and greet session at one of our local parks. This meet-up serves a bunch of important purposes. It helps us humans get to know each other better and gives your pup a chance to start building a bond with us. Plus, it's a great opportunity for us to see how your dog does on a leash, interacts with other furry pals, and behaves outdoors.

Here's what might happen after our meet and greet:

1) If we feel that your dog is a great fit for our gang, we will promptly arrange a trial group walk with a suitable group.

2) In cases where we believe your dog may benefit from a 30-minute 1-2-1 walk with me prior to joining a group walk, we'll arrange this session. This option is typically for dogs that tend to be a bit more anxious or require extra time to build trust with new people and dogs.

3) If, after our meet and greet, we believe our services might not be the perfect match for your pup, we will be honest and let you know, and we won't proceed any further. Your dog's well-being and how well they fit into our group are our top priorities.

Step 3

It's walkies time! We will pick up your dog at the pre-arranged time and date. During the walk, we'll proceed at a comfortable pace, paying close attention to interactions and behaviors. You can look forward to receiving a generous supply of pictures and a brief report after the walk.

This outing will help us assess whether your pup is ready to embark on their trial month with us, or if we believe they might be better suited with a different dog walker. Your dog's comfort and well-being are our top priorities, and we'll make our recommendation accordingly.
